This course is intended for new Atellica® operators and is designed to teach the skills needed to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the Atellica® CI Analyzer with Rack Handler. The program does not include advanced troubleshooting topics.

Duration: 3 days

Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:

• Identify the system components and their functions
• Navigate the software
• Utilize instrument Navigator and Online Help
• Manage notifications
• Manage supplies, system fluids, and reagents
• Schedule, process, and review calibrations
• Schedule, process, and review quality controls
• Process and monitor patient samples
• Create and review patient orders
• Utilize Lab Evaluation software
• Locate, review, and update maintenance tasks
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks
• Review and discuss as needed maintenance tasks
• Perform a PCC restart and discuss a system shutdown
• Utilize and interpret troubleshooting screens
• Identify the available Atellica CI Training Resources
• Discuss how to apply the Atellica CI Training Resources

This interactive course is designed to teach the skills to maintain and troubleshoot the Atellica CI Analyzer with Rack Handler. Participants should have at least three months of hands-on experience with the Atellica CI Analyzer.

Duration: 3 days

Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:

• Perform a functional overview of the system's hardware and software
• Describe CH and IM assay principles and theory
• Process calibrations and QC for the CI Analyzer
• Identify corrective actions to resolve calibration, QC and Sample issues
• Interpret the Event Log and utilize Operator Diagnostics and Service Support Request functions
• Utilize Online Help to identify troubleshooting procedures
• Perform as needed maintenance tasks for the CI Analyzer
• Resolve common hardware issues for the CI Analyzer
• Review Siemens Healthineers Online Resources
• Utilize software features and workflows

This course is designed to teach the skills required to operate, maintain and troubleshoot the Atellica Solution.

Duration: 3.5 days

Course Prerequisite Requirement:  Atellica Solution Essentials Virtual Training

Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:

• Navigate the Atellica Dashboard and satisfy basic instrument needs
• Utilize the ASA tablet and application
• Identify components of the Atellica Solution
• Utilize Procedure Details to perform daily, weekly, monthly, and as-needed maintenance
• Identify and replace all supplies
• Evaluate and order calibrations
• Navigate the reagent overview functions
• Process, Create, and Monitor patient samples
• Monitor and result orders in Atellica Data Manager (ADM)
• Describe the Atellica Decapper sample processing sequence
• Describe the Atellica Sealer sample processing sequence
• Understand Decapper and Sealer maintenance if applicable based on solution
• Understand the Sample Handler Connect if applicable based on solution
• Maintain the IMT system
• Utilize the Operator Event Log, Service Support Request ticket, and Operator Diagnostics screen to troubleshoot
• Utilize the Atellica Solution Shut Down, Startup & Recovery Options Job Aid to identify when and how to perform the different types of shutdowns on the Atellica Solution
• Utilize the IMT Troubleshooting Job Aid
• Discuss the use of the Emergency Sample Loader (ESL)
• Order, process, and monitor Quality Control
• Create and Manage QC definitions
• Explore configuration options available to operators in the Atellica Solution
• Discuss Reagent Comparison, QC Parallel, and Simple Precision lab evaluations available to operators in the Atellica Solution

This course is for Post Go-Live accounts and is designed to refine the basic skills and reinforce best practices to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the Atellica Solution. Identify and discuss how to apply the Atellica Solution Training Resources. This class is intended for operators who were recently hired or who were trained by their peers and need formal training. The program does not include advanced troubleshooting topics.

Duration: 3.5 days

Location:  Tarrytown, NY

Course Prerequisite Requirement: Customers who are already live with their Atellica Solution and who have not yet attended an instructor-led training on the Atellica Solution.

• Discuss Atellica Decapper functionality and review Atellica Decapper Maintenance
• Discuss Atellica Sealer functionality and review Atellica Sealer Maintenance
• Discuss Sample Handler Connect functionality and review associated maintenance

This interactive course is designed to teach the skills to maintain and troubleshoot the Atellica Solution. Participants should have at least three months of hands-on experience with the Atellica Solution.

Note:  This course will cover the Sample Handler, Chemistry and Immunoassay modules on software version 1.26 and Above.

• Perform Lab Evaluations
• Interpret the Event Log and utilize Operator Diagnostics and Service Support Request functions
• Utilize Online Help to identify troubleshooting procedures
• Perform as needed maintenance tasks for Atellica Solution modules
• Resolve common hardware issues for Atellica Solution modules
• Differentiate steps and scenarios for shut down, startup, and recovery of the Atellica modules
• Discuss Atellica Integrated Automation components troubleshooting
